PROJECT IMAGINAL

Project Imaginal: Women Shaping the Future of Work

Imagine an intricate web of light spanning across the nation. At each intersection point of every thread sits a node. Each of these nodes represents a woman whose physical and intellectual DNA holds a key to the solution of wide-scale workplace culture change, amounting to the sum-total of a nation in which women are not just accepted but honored and elevated as innovators poised to birth systems that meet the demands of the future.

Based on twenty years of transformational leadership work fueled by somatics, indigenous wisdom and systems thinking, we believe that such a network already exists. Project Imaginal is designed to ignite it.

Offered in partnership with the Social Good Fund 501c3 organization, Project Imaginal is our unique, women-led non-profit initiative designed to change the narrative about women’s roles in the workplace and expand women’s access to wealth, influence, and power through the vehicle of innovation.

Within Project Imaginal, we design and pilot innovative leadership and workforce resilience programs for women and underrepresented leaders across both social-impact sectors (e.g., nonprofit, environmental sustainability, education) and traditionally male-dominated industries (e.g., STEM, finance, medicine).

Project Imaginal
takes a three-pronged approach:

Pillar 1: Re-Connect

Supporting women innovators to heal from workplace harm, reconnect to purpose, and strengthen leadership capacity through cross-sector peer learning and embodied leadership practices—positioning them to lead change within their industries.

Pillar 2: Right-Role

Supporting highly-skilled women who experience job displacement due to sector instability, caregiving responsibilities, or economic disruption to identify, design, or transition into roles that better align with their strengths, values, and evolving market opportunities.

Pillar 3: Re-Design

Partner with organizations in traditionally male-dominated industries to pilot new approaches to workplace culture that increase psychological safety, inclusion, and access for women innovators.

What’s the BIG Idea?

The fundamental and innovative assumption behind Project Imaginal is that innovative women themselves are both best equipped and best positioned to solve the problem of workplace bias and cultural barriers. The fundamental and innovative assumption behind Project Imaginal is that innovative women themselves are both best equipped and best positioned to solve the problem of workplace bias and cultural barriers.

Project Imaginal addresses the Broke Rung for women in the workplace – including the barriers of economic strain, career disruption, and work place harm – by pairing somatic leadership education with practical capacity-building. These programs support participants to transform lived workplace challenges into renewed agency, transferable skills, and innovative approaches to leadership and systems change.

Through inclusive programming, peer learning communities, and subsidized curriculum-aligned professional coaching, the project strengthens individual well-being while incubating new models of leadership that challenge entrenched norms and catalyze more equitable, sustainable systems.
